When the referred customer completes their first qualifying booking: a Pre-Paid booking (paid from the Klin wallet) of at least R150 after discounts, with a provider whose booking earns Klin a commission. If an earlier booking doesn't qualify, the reward stays pending for a later one.

Yes, as long as you haven't made a booking yet: enter it under Profile → Invite friends. Once you've booked, or once a referrer is linked to your account, a code can't be added or changed.
